The Port of Vitória encompasses part of the coast of the cities of Vila Velha, Vitória and Cariacica. Vitória’s commercial wharf, under public management by CODESA (Companhia Docas do Espírito Santo), is divided into four berths characterized by deep and calm waters. On the bay of Vitória, StartNav operates in the Port of Capuaba, in the city of Vila Velha. This port is divided into five berths, two of them managed by CODESA, and three private ones.
The Port of Recife is located on the banks of the rivers Capibaribe and Beberibe. A traditional port, it encompasses nine operational berths and is near the big consumer centers. The Port of Suape is considered one of the most modern in Brazil and caters to the entire state of Pernambuco, part of Alagoas and Paraíba. Established as a concentrator and distributor of cargo, the space accommodates large scale ships, and boasts grand infrastructure.
Managed by Companhia Docas da Paraíba, the Port of Cabedelo is located on the bank of the river Paraíba do Norte’s estuary, closer to Asia, Africa and Europe – in addition to being the strategic point between other Brazilian Northeastern states.
